Idioma Flash
Idioma Flash is a flashcard building app for learning languages. I use it daily to learn Spanish. You can create decks, easily add cards with live translation, and hear the text spoken for learning pronunciation. You can also export and import decks to csv.
I am currently using this app to practice my daily Spanish vocabulary. When I am reading a book or watching tv and I encounter a word I do not know, I use this app to translate it and add it to one of my decks. Then multiple times a day I practice that deck to really cement the word in my vocabulary.
This app is 100% made by me. I coded and designed every aspect myself. I really hope you enjoy using it as much as I did building it.
This app is sort of a remake of my previous LingoFlash app. I did not like the UX and some of the features of that app too much, so I cleaned it up a lot and added new functionality for this app. I have been learning Spanish for a while and have been wanting an app that allows me to translate words while I read a book in Spanish and quickly add them to a flashcard deck for studying later. I was not able to easily find an app to do this (all the other apps were confusing and hard to work with), so I built my own! I use this app almost everyday.
I wanted to make this app have an extremely simple and straightforward UI. The only focus of the app is to facilitate learning languages. I avoided all bells and whistles, instead choosing to keep the app focused on its objective.
